Headliners The Three ‘N’ Eights will be Launching their album Leopard Print Hearts which of course features their own unique blend of “rock ‘n’ roll with a double shot of SKA”. The band will play the album in its entirety on the night. Their live sets have been described as “high octane” and another promoter recently perfectly described what to expect saying of the band – “They’re a little bit Rock ‘n’ Roll and a little bit Ska – They are entirely a bit bloody awesome”. Also playing will be the following special guests • Rudebeard – described by at least one reviewer as “a Scottish ska supergroup” another said “”it is hard to dislike any band who regard general untidiness as part and parcel of their plan…” – you have been warned! • Corrupt Intentions – Hard to stick in a pigeon-hole. Their first E.P., recorded in 2024, has been described as ska-punk-psychobilly-hardcore. One reviewer said of their E.P “The six songs offered up on their first release are raw and ferocious, six straight down the barrel, no nonsense, no messing, visceral knockout punches.” • In The Plughole. Originally formed in 1986 and still playing a mix of originals with other folk’s songs done their own way, Kilmarnock’s In the Plughole have graced the stage in recent years with the likes of The Meteors and Goodbye Mr Mackenzie. Get down early to catch their set. Profits from gig ticket sales will be split between: • Refuweegee – a Glasgow based, community-led charity that gives people a way to welcome and embrace those newest to arrive. They strive to ensure that people who have been forced to flee their homes arrive in Scotland to a warm welcome and some of the things that will help them to feel more at home here. • Ayrshire Cancer Support – a charity that provides practical help and emotional support to people in Ayrshire affected by cancer. Whether diagnosed with cancer, are having treatment, caring for someone with cancer, or bereaved through cancer, they can help.
